Free Workshops for KS2 Teachers with Harper Collins

Shakespeare Schools Foundation and HarperCollins Children’s Books have teamed up to offer free CPD Literacy and Drama workshops, focusing on the critically acclaimed novels of David Walliams.

These two-day CPD workshops will give teachers the tools to create unique dramatic interpretations of Walliams' books, bringing the stories and characters to life for any KS2 English or Drama classroom. The workshops will take the bestseller Gansta Granny as an example but the tools can be applied to any of the books.

Teachers will examine plot, character and language to lift the text off  the page and create dynamic, kinaesthetic learning opportunities. You will look at how to embed the exercises in a scheme of work, supporting teaching in Literacy, English, Drama, and across the curriculum, as well as teachers’ own professional development.

Free spaces on these two-day workshops are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To secure your place please follow the link below, and select your preferred workshop.
