Join the Youth Board

Recruitment for the 2025-2026 CSSF Youth Board is now open!

We’re excited to announce that we are opening recruitment for the 2025-26 Coram Shakespeare Schools Youth Board this July! We’re looking for engaged young people from all backgrounds who are ready to share their opinions and make change.

What does the Youth Board do?

The Youth Board play a vital role in steering our organization into the future – meeting with our dedicated core team regularly to discuss ideas, help us to make important choices and to untangle big questions.

In the past, the Youth Board has influenced meaningful change in everything we do from our merchandise, to our guidance on gender and queerness for teachers, to our marketing!

Why join the Youth Board?
  • 1:1 mentoring with industry professionals (e.g. screenwriters, costume designers, lawyers, charity workers)
  • Attend a London summit in October for team building and idea generation
  • Involvement in major events (25th Anniversary summit, parliamentary reception, Globe Theatre visit)
  • Opportunities to attend CSSF performances across the UK
  • Connect with like-minded young people from across the UK
  • Build skills in public speaking, leadership, and creativity
  • Most importantly, have your voice heard and make a real difference!

This opportunity is free and funding for travel to London is available.

Hear from our current Youth Board members:

Hear from Mathilde, 17:

"I have gained so many memories, friends and experiences from the Youth Board that have set me up with skills for life."

"Being surrounded by young people who shared the same interests as me was so comforting and we have always worked so well together to spread the ultimate message, that Shakespeare is for everyone."
