How the Festival helped Tyler rejoin mainstream education
“Sound trumpets”(Henry VI)
Following eight wonderful months of reimagining Shakespeare, we're thrilled to announce the Winners of our 2023 What You Will competition. The response we received was astounding and all Finalists brought us immense joy at last night's Celebration Gala in London's West End.
It was a tough decision for our Judges to shortlist the hundred of entries we received, as each piece showcased a deep grasp of Shakespeare's language, emotional maturity, and remarkable intellectual insight—qualities often beyond adults' reach.

Initially launched to celebrate the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare's First Folio, What You Will has grown into something much more. We've witnessed first-hand the unique power of young people making Shakespeare their own. It's a testament to the brilliance and passion of young voices, and we have been honoured to place their stories centre stage.
The young talent onstage last night was outstanding, and we're eager to showcase their achievements (cue rapturous applause) as the Winners of our 2023 What You Will competition.
