We are Coram Shakespeare Schools

A new name. The same mission.

From September 2026, Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation becomes simply Coram Shakespeare Schools.

It’s a small change, but an important one. We’re leaving behind one word from our name: the shorter version is clearer, simpler and better reflects the organisation that teachers, young people, partners and supporters already know.

While our name and logo are changing, everything that matters remains the same.

We’re still the same team, delivering the same programmes and working alongside schools, teachers and young people across the UK. Our mission to help children and young people grow in confidence, creativity and aspiration through Shakespeare remains exactly as it always has.

Through performances, workshops, professional learning and other creative opportunities, we’ll continue to give young people the chance to create, collaborate, communicate and develop skills for life.

And we remain proudly part of Coram, sharing its commitment to improving children and young people’s lives.

Celebrating the year behind us

Alongside our new name, we’re launching our 2025/26 Impact Report and celebrating what we’ve achieved together over the past year and the thousands of young people and teachers who have been part of our work.

It also recognises the schools, theatres, partners, supporters and donors who make that work possible, and looks ahead to what comes next for Coram Shakespeare Schools.

From today, you’ll start to see our new name and logo across our website, emails, programmes and communications. Some older references to Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation will naturally remain for a while as we make the transition.

But while the name might look a little different, who we are and what we stand for hasn’t changed.

New name. Same story. Same community. Same mission.

We are Coram Shakespeare Schools.
